WELCOME TO NORTHERN MICHIGAN MUSICIANS' COLLECTIVE
A Catalyst For Community Involvement In The Growing Live-Music Culture Of Northern Michigan.
At Northern Michigan Musicians' Collective, our goal is to be an effective asset for the community to help support Live-Music! We are raising funds to support the local musicians in Northern Michigan. By subsidizing the musician-venue relationship we allow for the art to become the focus. Building a strong support structure through networking with local venues, schools, and artists of all mediums to provide a positive audience base for aspiring musicians of all ages.
WHAT WE DO
We work on many exciting initiatives to support the local Live-Music scene in Northern Michigan.  We focus on local musician and band support, promotion, and bring venues the talent they are looking for.  Our future music education assistance programs will get instruments into the hands of passionate young musicians.  N.M.M.C.  also helps subsidize local venues and musicians with the equipment they need to provide an exceptional experience for their community.

Help Local Talent Thrive in Northern Michigan
We help musicians and bands in Northern Michigan market themselves.  We have built a network between local talent and venues that support local music.  Offering everything from face-to-face marketing support, media packets, and design assistance for album art and other merchandise. As well as management services to help musicians book gigs and provide themselves with income needed to continue to share their love of music with the community.

With the appropriate funding, we plan to provide instruments to students that are unable to afford to rent from their school or other third party lenders.  We offer lessons for many different instruments and musical backgrounds.  N.M.M.C. is dedicated to promoting and supporting the future musicians of Northern Michigan.  Giving students a chance to pursue their musical passions that they otherwise wouldn't be able to pursue.
Sound Recording and Equipment Assistance
Help Them Sound Their Best
Our staff helps and assists musicians with recording and event-sound services.  We are dedicated to providing top quality sound gear to local talent and venues so the musicians sound their best when it matters most. We subsidize venues and musicians funding to hire professional sound engineers so they can provide the best experience for their audience.

Share Your Love of Music
Do you have old instruments you don't play and don't want to sell?  If you would enjoy seeing your unused instrument in the hands of passionate students desiring to learn music, please donate them to N.M.M.C.  We take unwanted instruments and provide them to students or loan them to aspiring musicians who are unable to afford to rent or purchase them. Extra instruments will also be made available during our concerts for our Open-Mic segments, allowing audience members to participate.
